Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Sectoral Climate Strategy to drive the development and implementation of sectoral climate strategies. This role will work closely with the Director, Sectoral Climate Strategy to enable the delivery of RBC's climate commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support strategy development, project management, and analytics for emissions reduction target-setting.
  • Drive the development of sectoral climate strategies, including research and analytical work relating to sectoral climate strategies and decarbonization pathways.
  • Support implementation and coordination of sectoral strategies across lines of business.
  • Establish and own a knowledge and insights management function.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years of strategy experience.
  • Experience with quantitative economic and financial modeling.
  • Experience working in corporate sustainability and/or sector decarbonization.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving approaches and synthesis of key insights.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
