Capital Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Risk Specialist to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating capital risks across various business lines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective capital risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on capital risk mitigation and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to ensure the bank's capital risk management practices remain best-in-class.
- 4-year degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
- 5+ years of experience in capital risk management, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
