Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Risk Management Specialist to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to business partners in identifying, assessing, and mitigating capital risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the accurate and objective assessment of key capital risks through identification, control, and ongoing review.
  • Provide oversight of capital risk management, including independent reviews of key assumptions, model usage, reporting, and data.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Communicate complex risk management concepts and recommendations to senior management stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • 5+ years of experience in capital risk management, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
