About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Transportation Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, procedures, and other destinations, using a company-provided vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.
- Assist patients with their needs, including carrying luggage, assisting with seatbelts, and providing general support.
- Communicate effectively with our Dispatch Department and navigate our company systems daily.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless transportation services.
Requirements
- 10 years of driving experience with a valid G Driver's License.
- Good overall physical health and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Non-smoker preferred due to transporting individuals with medical conditions.
- Able to comfortably wear a protective mask and work with sanitizing products.
- Valid CPR Certificate and ability to provide a current police check, including a vulnerable sector search.
- Strong knowledge of the regional geographic area and the metropolitan Greater Toronto Area.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Customer service-oriented and able to determine if a patient has physical limitations requiring additional support.
