CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL DBA to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our critical enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-availability database solutions using Microsoft SQL, Postgres, and Oracle.
  • Configure databases for mission-critical applications and provide direction on database environments to ensure high performance.
  • Identify database environment gaps and implement improvements to database procedures and infrastructure scripts.
  • Provide input on long-term database roadmap vision, including upgrades and patching.
  • Migrate DBMS systems to Cloud utilizing migration tools and scripting.
  • Prepare and maintain all technical documentation for DBMS and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in database administration utilizing Microsoft database solutions in a large corporate environment.
  • Certified in Microsoft/Oracle database technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge of Windows Server, and Linux.
  • Understanding and experience of DevOps, ITIL, and ITSM foundation frameworks.
  • Desirable experience with ServiceNow, Solarwinds, Commvault, AppDynamics, Control-M tools.
  • Strong communicator.
