Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team through the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN). This is an exciting opportunity for nurses to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, high-quality care to patients with complex care needs
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to create a world-class health experience
  • Manage a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Address and resolve issues in a productive and respectful manner
  • Exercising sound professional judgment and using best practice guidelines
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Begin employment with Mackenzie Health
  • Commit to two years of employment at a full-time work schedule
  • Not simultaneously receive funds from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
