Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As an RPN with Nurse Next Door, you will work closely with our Care Designers to create personalized care plans and deliver exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to clients in their homes, including medication administration, wound care, and pain management
  • Assess and provide education to clients and their families on various health topics
  • Collaborate with our Care Designers to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document client care and progress accurately and thoroughly
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current Certificate of Competence and in good standing with the provincial College of Nurses
  • 1 year of nursing experience required; three years nursing experience preferred
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one year of recent related experience in gerontological nursing
  • Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (less than 1 year old)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (less than 2 years old)
  • Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
  • Cell phone with data and understanding of how to access email and utilize online applications softwares
  • Must be able to speak and write in English; other languages will be an asset
  • Valid drivers license and car required
  • Have a valid SIN and eligibility to work in Canada
