Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is office-based, with occasional travel required for project oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team by gathering competitive quotes from reliable vendors to ensure optimal pricing and availability for projects.
  • Evaluate tender documents, offering detailed feedback to the team, ensuring completeness and compliance with project standards.
  • Assist in the formulation and coordination of project plans and timelines post-award, tracking progress and updating documentation as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and providing regular updates on project status.
  • Help manage resource allocation for project tasks, identifying potential constraints and proposing solutions.
  • Monitor project budgets closely, ensuring expenditures align with forecasts and reviewing subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and propose improvements as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accessibility and organization.
  • Assist in project closeout activities, ensuring all documentation is finalized and approvals secured.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor project compliance and address any on-site challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on modular building.
  • A diploma in Construction Management or related field is preferred; PMP designation is a plus.
  • Fundamental understanding of construction principles, project financials, and time management.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and customer service.
  • A collaborative team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
