About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Design Engineering Manager to lead our team of civil engineers in providing design and engineering management services to all markets and technologies within the RES Group. As a key member of our Group Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet the safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of civil engineers in delivering design and engineering management services to meet business needs
  • Ensure team capabilities and resources are managed to meet business objectives
  • Develop and maintain team management systems and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Provide risk mitigation to support effective management of risk exposure across the RES Group
  • Coordinate best practice across markets and business units in the RES Group
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and their application to the renewable energy sector
  • Thorough appreciation of renewable energy technologies and their application to RES projects
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Understanding of cross-functional project requirements and priorities
  • Knowledge of UK CDM Regulations (and national equivalent in other countries)
