We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Design Engineering Manager to join our team at Renewable Energy Systems. As a key member of our Group Engineering team, you will play a critical role in providing engineering support to all RES Regional Businesses across all phases of low carbon projects.

The Project Design Engineering Manager will lead a team of civil engineers delivering design and engineering management to meet the safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements of projects and the wider business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of civil engineers to deliver design and engineering management services
  • Ensuring team capabilities and resources are managed to meet business needs
  • Developing and maintaining team management systems and processes
  • Providing risk mitigation to support effective management of risk exposure across the RES Group
  • Coordinating best practice across markets and business units in the RES Group

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and their application to the renewable energy sector
  • A thorough appreciation of renewable energy technologies and their application to RES projects
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Understanding of cross-functional project requirements and priorities
