Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wendy's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet customer demand and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including prompt and courteous handling of complaints and concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any quality control issues.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments, including management, to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve relationships.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a dynamic environment.
