Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the expectations of the role.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work 40 hours per week. Public transportation is available.

Language and Culture

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English.
