Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Adjust and plan routes based on real-time conditions using advanced navigation systems to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate both straight and articulated trucks, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Accurately record cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement tarping procedures and ensure the security of all transported goods.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Licenses: Must possess an AZ class license and an Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with accident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, and maintenance records.
Experience

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, including those willing to undergo training. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
