Payroll Specialist

In this role, you will oversee payroll functions ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal policies. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute payroll processing for both Canadian and US employees in accordance with established deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Administer Family Support and garnishment information.
  • Reconcile payroll data and address any discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate payment processing for vendors.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports.
  • Support year-end payroll procedures.
  • Engage in system improvements and special initiatives.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team member with the capability to work independently.
  • Proficient in both French and English.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in administration or accounting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and US payroll regulations.
  • Experience with leading payroll software and SAP systems.
