Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales floor team members to achieve sales goals, provide support, and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues on a regular basis.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills are required for this role, as you will be handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset for this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset for this role, as you will be interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds.
