We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate project forecasts, including comparisons to previous forecasts and explanations for variances.
- Manage and report on scope and schedule changes in accordance with project control procedures.
- Monitor project performance against budget and estimated costs to complete.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and reconcile actual spend against quarterly forecast assumptions.
- Oversee all cost functions of the project, including cost coding, receiving, and vendor invoice processing.
- Study and understand project documents related to budget and schedule preparation.
- University Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or a related field.
- Certification such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), or related certifications.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, with a preference for pharmaceutical or life sciences experience.
- Demonstrated experience in schedule analysis, cost estimating, earned value, and cost control.
- High degree of foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving project cost abnormalities.
- Experience in developing estimates and schedules that incorporate CQV activities.
- Understanding of Contract requirements and deliverables.
- Advanced knowledge of cost engineering concepts and scheduling skills.
- Understanding of Earned Value and quantity-based progression.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities.
