Senior Material Logistics Coordinator

Bombardier is a global leader in aviation, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Material Logistics Agent to join our team in Wichita, ADMN / MFG, Learjet. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the internal and external procurement of parts, ensuring the flow of materials meets our customers' needs, and maintaining inventory levels within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procure to pay cycle, ensuring healthy supplier relationships and best-in-class operational performance.
- Be responsible for internal and external supplier performance management and drive continuous improvement.
- Support critical customer orders and ad-hoc in-service maintenance activities by expediting part reception from suppliers.
- Lead projects with a broad scope in your discipline, focusing on mid to long-term goals.
- Advise clients on complex problems and solve moderately complex issues in your specialty area.
- Prepare and present issues, findings, and solutions to management.
- Drive daily continuous improvement activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans to increase inventory and COGS variances.
- You hold a Technical College Degree or a Bachelor's degree in Operations or Industrial Management.
- You have 2-12 years of experience in a similar position.
- You can work on different shifts in rotation (day, evening, night, and weekends).
- You strive for a challenging and stimulating work environment.
- You have strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- You can maintain strong relationships with suppliers and drive improvements.
- You have good multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- You hold an APICS certification (an asset).
- You have knowledge and experience in using MacPac, TIMMS, and/or SAP (an asset).
- You have good knowledge of Excel (Intermediate), Internet, and Lotus Notes.
