About the Role

The London Family Health Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in providing high-quality team-based primary health care to our patients in London, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization, ensuring alignment with our vision and mission.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and policies to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the management of resources, including finance, human resources, and information technology.
  • Represent the organization to the community, government, and other stakeholders, promoting our services and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance primary care within the healthcare system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare partners and Ontario Health to promote coordination, integration, and planning of local healthcare services.
  • Ensure sound fiscal management and effective financial and administrative systems.
  • Develop and implement ongoing capital repairs and improvement, including technology infrastructure.
  • Support clinical programs through collaboration with the team and the Family Health Organization (FHO) to develop patient-centered practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a management level, including financial planning and budget management in a healthcare environment.
  • Business management skills in finance, information technology, performance metrics, and human resources.
  • Experience in working with government agencies at various levels, including Ontario Health and the Ministry of Health.
  • Effective strategic planning, policy development, quality improvement, and proven ability to lead change and implement creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated competency in digital health, including information technology literacy.
  • Commitment to anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems, particularly PS Suites.
