About the Role

Parker Johnston Industries Ltd is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Work Environment

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in various locations
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
