Key Responsibilities- Measure and Mark Sheet Metal: Accurately measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and specifications.
- Cut and Fabricate Sheet Metal: Cut sheet metal materials using power tools or by hand, and fabricate parts as required.
- Install Sheet Metal Products: Install sheet metal products, such as roofs and walls, according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repair of sheet metal products.
- Work in a Variety of Settings: Work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sheet metal roofing or a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
