About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Lead to join our team at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding projects to success, working closely with your team to design, develop, debug, and deploy software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide projects to success, working closely with your team to design, develop, debug, and deploy software solutions.
  • Work within a scrum team to bring designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications.
  • Implement and configure software application functionality, including user interfaces, business rules, workflows, and complex logic.
  • Develop and test code, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, to present your work to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java (Java 8 preferred) and Spring Boot.
  • Expertise in front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies, including Angular, React, and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies and data modeling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
