Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Commercial Sales to join our team at Sterling Brokers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing a strong footprint across Canada for our Commercial Insurance Products.
About the Role:
- Build processes and controls for sales and services of new commercial lines
- Prospect and customer engagement and development in the commercial line of business
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships
- Understand client needs and present tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and comply with internal policies and procedures
- Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services
- Keep organized records and tracking progress toward business goals and quotas using Salesforce
Requirements:
- CAIB and/or RIBO license required
- Experience working with Canadian insurance carriers is preferred
- Minimum requirement of 5 years of insurance experience in commercial lines
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment with a multi-stage sales process
- Strong track-record of independently generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals
- Proficiency in utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with EPIC, or other platforms for P&C, nice to have: Salesforce and Salesloft, or similar CRM and sales automation tools
