Job Description

We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our Technical Communication team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation and microcopy to help our customers succeed with our products and features. You will work closely with our product teams to develop and deliver great product experiences from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be an integral part of the documentation lifecycle for our products and features.
  • Produce microcopy for our products, working closely with the UX design team.
  • Ensure adherence to style guide standards for all Varicent products.
  • Provide a fresh perspective on our current documentation set, improving content as needed.
  • Recommend and execute technologies for more effective content delivery and communication.
  • Enhance written work with multimedia content and AI tools.
  • Manage time effectively, balancing work across multiple product teams with different deadlines.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience writing product documentation, UX/Microcopy copy, and/or other multi-media help content.
  • A portfolio of work showcasing technical writing skills.
  • Ability to conduct research, interview subject matter experts, and gather knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools, AI writing and proofreading tools, web development technologies, and in-App help and Walk-through tooling.
  • Collaboration and efficiency skills, with a willingness to learn new things.
