About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at 2685441 Ontario Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our work environment is dusty, and you will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools to perform your duties.
