About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Advice Specialist to join our team at Coast Capital Savings. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized service to members, addressing their financial needs and providing solutions to meet their goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, understanding their financial situations and offering tailored advice and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to achieve sales and referral targets, promoting Coast Capital's products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying ahead of the curve in the financial services industry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably with a focus on lending and investments.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) is a requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • High level of digital literacy, with experience using a range of devices and technology.
