We are seeking a Financial Services Account Executive to enhance our GTM Financial Services Team in North America. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of retail clients. Your primary objective will be to foster the growth and operational success of Lightspeed customers through our Financial services offerings.

As we expand, we are initiating a more concentrated approach to financial services. Financial Services Account Executives are essential in executing our customer acquisition strategies. As trusted advisors, you will engage in business development activities within your designated territory, aiming to increase awareness and adoption of Lightspeed Capital among small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively reach out to existing clients to advocate for our financial services offerings; Deliver exceptional service and employ effective sales techniques to enhance awareness of Lightspeed Capital among merchants; Establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients and identify potential Financial Service opportunities within your portfolio; Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize the growth of your client base; Meet sales targets by providing outstanding advice and service to each merchant while collaborating with the Regional Account Management leader to maximize opportunities in your territory; Utilize effective business development and relationship management strategies to achieve or surpass established sales goals; Provide ongoing feedback and represent the voice of the merchant to business leaders.

Qualifications:

Proven sales experience, ideally in selling financial service products, with a history of high performance over several years; Familiarity with solution-oriented consultative sales in a SaaS context; Proficient in using various technologies to manage and organize sales pipelines; Committed to fostering a culture of positivity and high achievement; Enjoy the challenge of surpassing targets; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Professional demeanor and confidence when engaging with executives; Value constructive feedback and thrive on continuous improvement and learning; Strong work ethic and a self-motivated drive to succeed; Exceptional interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain solid partnerships both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector is a significant advantage; Proficiency in French is a plus.
