Position Overview

The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The physical demands include:

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical stamina and attention to detail.
