Culinary Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the exceptional preparation and delivery of our resident and guest dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals for residents and guests, ensuring dietary needs are met and exceeding expectations.
- Operate and maintain food production equipment and food preparation areas, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Comply with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements, maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our culinary team.
Requirements:
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under strict time constraints.
- High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
