Altrad Services Canada is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at a prominent construction project in Kitimat, BC. As a Quality Inspector - Insulation Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring that sheet metal and insulation works are completed in accordance with approved procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure that all quality-related activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure that works are completed to the required specifications.
- Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports and test results.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with site personnel, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure that quality requirements are met.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Education and Experience: 5 years of relevant industry experience, including 2 years of QA/QC experience.
- ICorr Certification: Possession of ICorr certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of quality inspection practices, standards, systems, and processes relevant to the operations of the project.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
