Environmental Compliance Reporting Specialist

At EightSix Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to federal and provincial agencies, ensuring timely compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Manage and maintain our Environmental Management System, ensuring all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
- Provide technical expertise and support to our Climate team, assessing and projecting potential eligible SAF use and emissions reduction unit requirements.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and data owners to collect, track, and assess data for regulatory program reporting.
- Develop and deliver environmental compliance programs, providing day-to-day support and technical expertise to our teams.
- Support the review and assessment of new regulatory requirements, ensuring our organization remains compliant and up-to-date.
- Respond to Notices of Violation, media inquiries, and other environmental emergency issues, ensuring our organization's reputation is protected.
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in related GHG management, environmental reporting, or environmental project management.
- Knowledge of current environmental legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and excellent time management and organizational skills.
