Environmental Compliance Reporting Specialist

At EightSix Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our environmental compliance and reporting obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to federal and provincial agencies, including NPRI, Federal Fuels Regulation #1, and GHGRP.
- Manage regulatory programs related to air emissions compliance, including ICAO Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) and the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme.
- Support the assessment of regulatory requirements and conduct quarterly reviews of data to ensure compliance.
- Document and submit reports to regulatory agencies and participate in external verification as needed.
- Collaborate with the Climate team and Climate Data Analyst to assess and project potential eligible SAF use and emissions reduction unit requirements.
- Work with Environmental Affairs subject-matter experts and data owners to collect, track, and assess data for regulatory program reporting.
- Assist in the development and delivery of environmental compliance programs as assigned.
- Provide day-to-day support and technical expertise to Branches and stations in understanding regulatory compliance requirements and implementing environmental programs.
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in related GHG management, environmental reporting, environmental project management, or pertinent aviation experience.
- Knowledge of current environmental legislation, regulations, and related industry best practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of GHG emissions calculations and regulatory and voluntary programs and standards.
