Environmental Compliance Reporting Specialist

Job Description
At EightSix Network, we are seeking an Environmental Compliance Reporting Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory compliance reports in accordance with prescribed timelines and applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit federal and provincial regulatory reports, including NPRI, Federal Fuels Regulation #1, and GHGRP.
- Manage regulatory programs reporting related to air emissions compliance obligations, including ICAO Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
- Support assessment of regulatory requirements and conduct quarterly reviews of data to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Document and submit reports and information to regulatory agencies and participate in external verification as needed.
- Support the Climate team and Climate Data Analyst in assessing and projecting potential eligible SAF use and emissions reduction unit requirements.
- Work with Environmental Affairs subject-matter experts and data owners to collect, track, and assess data and information for regulatory program reporting.
- Assist in the development and delivery of environmental compliance programs as assigned.
- Provide day-to-day support and technical expertise to Branches in understanding regulatory compliance requirements and implementing environmental programs.
- Support the review and assessment of new regulatory requirements in Canada and internationally.
- Support in preparing and submitting responses to Notices of Violation, media inquiries, and adverse publicity.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in related GHG management, environmental reporting, environmental project management, or pertinent aviation experience.
- Knowledge of current environmental legislation, regulations, and related industry best practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of GHG emissions calculations and regulatory and voluntary programs and standards.
