Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Delivery Person Supervisor to join our team at B.C. LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery personnel, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Assign tasks and duties to sales workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments by cheque and manage the company's financial transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Order merchandise and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize downtime.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
