Key Responsibilities:


• Address urgent aircraft situations and respond to technical inquiries from clients.

• Develop engineering solutions to facilitate repair processes and modifications to design documents.

• Offer technical support to clients, maintenance teams, service facilities, and various Bombardier divisions.

• Conduct investigations into service-related issues, identify root causes, and formulate effective and creative solutions.

• Exercise sound judgment to understand the implications of proposed solutions and adapt as necessary to ensure aircraft are returned to service safely and to the satisfaction of customers.

• Collaborate with different departments, service centers, suppliers, and vendors.

• Provide round-the-clock engineering and technical assistance to our clientele.

• This role requires working on a rotating schedule that includes day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications and Skills:


• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in engineering related to aircraft structures or mechanical systems is essential.

• Familiarity with both metallic and composite structures is advantageous.

• Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.

• Proficiency in CATIA V5 (2D or 3D) and MS Office is expected.

• A self-motivated individual who can work independently while demonstrating innovation, professionalism, and dedication.

• A collaborative team player who is always willing to assist others.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are necessary.
