About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at 1414728 BC Ltd. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Lead and Motivate a Team

Supervise and train a team of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Requisition and manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and safety, and that our facilities and equipment are well-maintained.

Address Customer Complaints

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.

Maintain Accurate Records

Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A diploma or certificate in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts, and a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Language and Communication

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.

Physical Demands

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
