Job Title: Gravel Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at Optima Trucking. As a Gravel Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting gravel and other materials to various locations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence and Air Brakes Endorsement. You will be required to operate a dump truck and transport gravel and other materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck to transport gravel and other materials to various locations
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and perform regular maintenance checks
  • Load and unload gravel and other materials
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence and Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
