**Manufacturing Operations Supervisor**

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team at Allergan. As a key member of our downstream manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Direct and supervise a team of operators to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, including equipment maintenance, quality control, and process optimization.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to less experienced operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards, including compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex problems related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality issues.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, science, or business) preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong background in process improvement and quality assurance.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control; excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
