Position Overview

The Groundskeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of outdoor spaces, ensuring a high standard of landscape aesthetics and functionality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a supervisory role
Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, and relocation costs will be covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule staff effectively
  • Plan and oversee grounds maintenance activities
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for projects
  • Coordinate the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction projects
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with backhoes, chain saws, small engine equipment, tractors, and tractor mowers

Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this position.
