Job Summary:

Mariposa Gardens Community & Retirement Living is seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises, as delegated or part of routine assistance with daily living.
  • Monitor resident well-being, responding promptly to call bells and door alarms, and providing courteous service.
  • Perform other related duties, such as common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments, as required.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
  • Medication Certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check.
