Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Chemist to join our team in early development research, analytical method development, and validation for new products. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive testing of API and finished dosages, as well as preparation of regulatory submission documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement analytical methods for drug substance and finished product.
- Apply AQbD approach to analytical method development where applicable.
- Prepare analytical methods, validation protocols, and technical reports.
- Perform validation of analytical testing procedures for drug substance and drug product.
- Conduct lab investigations and provide reports to other business units.
- Provide technical support to other departments for stability-related issues.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to achieve project outcomes.
- Recognized post-secondary education in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, or related field.
- Good knowledge of instrumentation, HPLC method development, and method validation.
- Working knowledge of LIMS and automated data acquisition systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills are an asset.
