Job SummaryAs a key member of the project working team, this role is responsible for performing all activities in AR&D QC pertaining to full testing of API, in-process, stability samples, and finished dosages.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial testing and stability sample testing as per specifications.
- Validate analytical testing procedures for drug substance and drug product under senior chemist guidance.
- Conduct other required tests for dosage submissions.
- Document and report results according to established SOPs.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve all outcomes.
- Demonstrate corporate values in work performance and interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
- Adhere to regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements.
- Recognized post-secondary education in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
- BSc with 1 year or MSc with 0 year experience in a pharmaceutical lab in an R&D environment.
- Knowledge of wet chemistry, analytical bench techniques, and Window-based software.
- Automated data acquisition systems knowledge is an asset.
- Working knowledge of GC is an asset.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
