Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to practice as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant (Gastroenterology Hospitalist) at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations, including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy. This position does not include any elective outpatient endoscopy provisions or privileges.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Desired
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Mandatory
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology or equivalent - Mandatory
  • Endoscopy Skills - Mandatory
  • ERCP/EUS skills an asset
