Job Summary:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Consultant to join our team at Lion's Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. As an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations, including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant
• Conduct acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations, including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in gastroenterology

Requirements:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (desired)
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership (mandatory)
• ERCP/EUS skills (an asset)
