The Role: Delivery Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Specialist to join our team in Tillsonburg, Ontario. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of samples, packages, and supplier pickups both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately transport samples, packages, and complete supplier pickups, both domestically and internationally.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Schedule and attend regular vehicle maintenance appointments to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding vehicle operation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections before each journey.
- Manage incoming driver requests, plan efficient routes, and adjust them as needed based on traffic, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating politely and professionally with all suppliers.
- Complete administrative tasks related to sample shipments, including export paperwork and FedEx shipping labels.
- Acquire necessary shipping materials, such as dry ice, for sample shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including receipts, signatures, and any other required documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid G class driver's license.
- Valid passport.
- Clean driving record.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Nexxus experience is an asset.
