We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at CIRCLE K. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring merchandise for resale, while maintaining adequate stock levels and negotiating prices with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Source and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers, while maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets, ensuring efficient logistics and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
