About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shawarma Palace Inc. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness.
  • Chef Supervision and Training
    • Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Provide guidance and support to help team members develop their skills and confidence.
  • Kitchen Operations and Maintenance
    • Oversee kitchen cleanliness and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Address customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant setting in an urban area.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

    • Experience with Lebanese, Vegetarian, Turkish, and Moroccan cuisine.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
