About the Job

A Plus Hair & Beauty Salon is seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair according to their preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hair care services to clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair.
  • Consult with clients to determine their hair care needs and preferences.
  • Use a variety of hair care techniques, including blow drying, hair braiding, and iron waving/curling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the salon and equipment.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest hair care trends and techniques.
Requirements
  • Barbering Trade Certification or Hairstylist Trade Certification.
  • Hairstylist Licence or Barber Licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment.
