Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and they leave the salon satisfied.
  • Hairstyling: Cut, style, and color hair according to client preferences and instructions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest hair care products and techniques, making recommendations to clients as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hairstyling industry.
  • Certifications: Barbering Trade Certification, Hairstylist Trade Certification, Barber Licence, and Hairstylist Licence.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and manual dexterity.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: On-site customer service in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call.
  • Relocation: Relocation costs covered by employer.
