Position Overview:
As a Lead Technical Business Consultant for Major Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with CRIM's clients and partners. Your primary focus will be on establishing connections with significant account clients, particularly within the aerospace and manufacturing industries, who are eager to collaborate with CRIM on their artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with achieving both quantitative and qualitative objectives aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Quebec's economic landscape, thereby enhancing competitiveness and productivity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of client needs while considering the unique aspects of their business environments.
  • Coordinating responses to client inquiries and supporting CRIM's specialists in the technical preparation of service proposals.
  • Championing the technical and business case in collaboration with various R&D experts and overseeing the drafting of funding applications for large-scale initiatives.
  • Acting as an ambassador for CRIM, fostering and maintaining a robust network of partners, and promoting collaborative relationships within the ecosystem.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, the Lead Technical Business Consultant should possess a blend of relational and political acumen, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of business priorities, along with technical expertise relevant to CRIM's focus areas. These attributes will be essential for meeting deadlines and nurturing enduring, productive partnerships.

Essential Requirements:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or a related field pertinent to CRIM's expertise.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in a similar business development role.
  • Experience in consulting services and customized offerings.
  • Familiarity with large corporations and R&D laboratories.
  • Proficient technical writing skills for service proposal development.
  • Knowledge of funding programs, including project proposal calls, grant requests, RSDE tax credits, and industrial financing applications.
  • An established business network within the IT and Innovation sectors.
  • Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
