Position Summary
What is the opportunity?
As a Financial Consultant specializing in Investment and Retirement Planning at RBC, you will cultivate relationships and design personalized investment strategies for both potential and current clients. Supported by a network of internal partners who provide client referrals, your initiative and ambition to drive investment sales will empower you to deliver exceptional advice and solutions that assist clients in reaching their long-term financial objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customized financial planning guidance and solutions utilizing our extensive range of investment and portfolio offerings, including top-tier proprietary and selected third-party mutual fund options.
- Attract and consolidate both existing and new clients and their assets.
- Connect clients with appropriate RBC team members to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
- Build external business referral networks through strategic networking, marketing efforts, and leveraging your professional connections.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Financial Planning Designation (IPF) or currently pursuing completion.
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning.
- Demonstrated skills in networking and client acquisition.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with partners.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required, as you will frequently assist clients with both language needs.
